What to Expect After Graduation
Your journey does not end after training. Once your classroom and hands-on training is complete and you’ve taken and passed your NCCER certification exam(s), the Goodwill support team will continue to assist with resume updates, interview preparation, and connections to job opportunities. You’ll even have the opportunity to connect with employers immediately after course completion!

She is one of our most recent graduates from the Plumbing Apprentice Program. Skilled trades were always part of her world; her family is full of electricians. But her own path started somewhere unexpected: an Uber ride, where her driver told her about a free program at our Goodwill Career & Technical Academy (GCTA). She signed up, rose to every challenge, and graduated with her eyes set on the plumbers’ union and a long career in plumbing.
