That’s why we’re excited to offer two new programs designed to help you build the skills you need to advance in your career: Essentials: English as a Second Language (ESL) and Foundations: Adult Literacy.
🌎 Essentials: English as a Second Language (ESL)
Learning a new language is a big step, and we’re here to walk it with you. Our ESL program enables adults to improve their ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English.
What you’ll gain:

📘 Foundations: Adult Literacy
If reading, writing, or math have ever held you back from achieving your goals, you’re not alone. Our adult literacy program focuses on the core skills you need to succeed in everyday life and in the workplace. From preparing for a certification or a new job to improving your skills, our classes can help you get where you need to be.
In this program, you’ll:
- Build writing and grammar skills
- Strengthen your reading comprehension and vocabulary
- Improve your math abilities—from basics to more advanced problem solving
- Gain the confidence you need to pursue new personal and career opportunities
This program is especially helpful if you’ve faced life or financial challenges that made school difficult in the past. At GCTA, we meet you where you are and help you move forward.
