Take charge of your future with a career in electrical systems.
The Electrical Helper program teaches students the essentials to an entry-level position within the electrical industry. Graduates of this program will have a basic understanding of electrical theory and be able to apply safe electrical practices. Students will learn how to read basic construction drawings and blueprints, demonstrate the proper and safe way to use electrical test equipment and tools, and know how to reference the National Electrical Code Book.

What to Expect After Graduation
Your journey does not end after training. Once your classroom and hands-on training is complete and you’ve taken and passed your NCCER certification exam(s), the Goodwill support team will continue to assist with resume updates, interview preparation and connections to job opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements
- Photo ID
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
(Social Security, Birth Certificate, Work Visa, or Green Card) - High School Diploma or GED required
- Must pass a background check
- Passing scores on entrance assessments
Note: All students must attend a mandatory orientation before the first day of class.
