Build a foundation for your future in construction.
The NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) Core course is the foundational class in the NCCER portfolio and a prerequisite to all other Level 1 curriculum. Completing this course provides the graduate with the basic skills needed to pursue any of over 70 specialized crafts/skills in NCCER. The OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 10 Hour Construction Safety Authorization will be earned along with the successful completion of the Safety module.

What to Expect After Graduation
Your journey does not end after completing training. Once your classroom and hands-on training is complete and you’ve taken and passed your NCCER certification exam, the Goodwill support team will continue to assist with resume updates, interview preparation and connections to job opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements
- Photo ID
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
(Social Security, Birth Certificate, Work Visa, or Green Card) - High School Diploma or GED required
- Must pass a background check
- Passing scores on entrance assessments
Note: All students must attend a mandatory orientation before the first day of class.
