This OSHA 30-Hour General Industry course is designed to educate workers on workplace and jobsite safety. The course provides working knowledge, skills, and abilities for safety recognition and awareness in a General Industry setting.
OSHA 30-hour training courses are starting to be required, particularly in the construction industry. Many private companies, unions, and government projects are now requiring workers to obtain OSHA outreach training before starting work. Some states have enacted laws requiring the training.
For job seekers or individuals looking to upskill, being able to provide documentation of completion of a 30-hour OSHA course can be a great advantage. Demonstrating knowledgeable in occupational safety and health hazards and prevention is a valuable addition to a resume.

Eligibility Requirements
- Photo ID
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
(Social Security, Birth Certificate, Work Visa, or Green Card) - High School Diploma or GED required
- Must pass a background check
- Passing scores on entrance assessments
Note: All students must attend a mandatory orientation before the first day of class.
